Presenter: June Turnbull
The EPFX-SCIO Quantum Biofeedback Device was created over a period of many years of research and development to combine holistic medicine with advanced quantum technology. The device makes it possible to query the body for its most acute/chronic conditions or needs, and attempt to balance or correct these stressors with focused energetic therapy. June will share information about the body electric, quantum physics, stress, and how the EPFX Quantum Biofeedback device encourages wellness by aiding the body in recognizing and returning to its original state of health and balance.

Saturday afternoon, October 27, Solstice is proud to present John Kesler, traveling from California to present:

INTEGRAL TANTRIC BIG MIND PRACTICE BODY AND SPIRIT WORKSHOP

top
Offered by John T. Kesler
When: Saturday, October 27, 1:00-4:30 pm
Where: Solstice Center, 302 Pearl Street, Boulder Colorado; enter on 3rd Street
Contribution: $25 - or less based on need
RSVP: j_kesler@woodburycorp.com; attendance limited to 45.
John will offer an afternoon experiential workshop exploring the tantric connections between body and Spirit through the big mind process and facilitated meditation.

John Kesler was one of the first individuals certified by Genpo Roshi to facilitate the “big mind process”, which has been referred to as the most significant development in Buddhism in 200 years. The big mind process is a facilitated group meditation which enables virtually anyone to receive a “kensho” experience or taste of the ultimate “non-dual” state defined particularly in the eastern traditions as a breakthrough to enlightened awareness.

John Kesler has developed a particular integral and tantric approach to this process. By discovering a potential mandala of transformation at every energetic polarity, John has developed a tantric practice which is unique. This practice works with polar energies in an ascending practice and archetypal polarities of descending manifestations of Spirit. The practice is brought to fruition by exploring the implications of internal and partnering tantra resulting from the embrace of the both the absolute and the relative, and the masculine and the feminine divine.

“There is nobody doing more leading-edge work on the integration of Eastern and Western approaches to consciousness, tantric experience and growth than John Kesler. His fully integral approach includes conventional and contemplative dimensions of psychology and spirituality, spanning body and mind and spirit and shadow, a truly remarkable and effective approach. I give his work my highest recommendation.” Ken Wilber

John Kesler is a founding teacher at the Integral Spiritual Center.

Mindful Physiology Institute: CapnoBreath training consultation and lecture

Sunday, October 29, 6:00-9:00, in the Big Room:teaches principles and applications of the inside-out paradigm through offering educational services. CapnoBreath training consultation and lecture events to assist people in learning about deregulated breathing and what they can do about it.
These workshop are for: healthcare practitioners, mental health professionals, corporate coaches, human service professionals, sports professionals, health educator consultants, school counselors, educators, and the wide variety of professional trainers who do breath work. During the presentation we will be sharing experiential learning techniques to become familiar with breathing as behavior, a behavior that regulates acid-base physiology. Acid-base physiology is about pH balance of body fluids, including blood and the fluids that surround tissue cells. The effects of deregulated pH (or chemistry) on health and performance can be dramatic and profound.
Good breathing behavior is about regulating of body chemistry (pH), a chemistry that ensures electrolyte balance, proper blood distribution, and efficient allocation of oxygen. Bad breathing behavior means deregulating body chemistry. Breathing, like any other behavior, is regulated by learning, and thus by motivation, emotion, cognition, perception, and memory. IMPORTANT CHANGES COMING TO DANCE HOME

(A letter from the current Dance Home Administrator, Mark Klosterman)

Dear Friends & Patrons,

As of today, Nicole Shostak will be taking on the role of an assistant to my position as Program Director, and eventually, if our Board of Directors approves, my role will become hers, and I will assist her. At some point in the next year or so, I may retire from having any administrative responsibilities whatsoever. It's been 10 years for me, and the journey has been liberating in many ways. My gratitude and my love for the DH community runs deep, too deep to articulate in this email, but I'm sure you all get the point.

In my humble opinion, Nicole presents a great fit as a general manager, and I have complete faith that she will honor the tradition of taking her lead from our wonderful community of dancers who collectively lead our dances in more ways than you may realize. Nicole will also have the responsibility of honoring the consensus decision-making process that has always been the guiding force at the heart of Dance Home, Solstice and its dedicated Board of Directors.

In addition, my role is really better suited for 2 or 3 people to share, and there are many assets to having Dance Home directed by a small team, so the likelihood of Nicole having a support team is strong but not definite. Two individuals have already expressed an interest in joining this team, but if anyone else has a keen interest in being involved, then feel free to contact me. If and when those secondary roles are officially filled, the community will be informed.

Dance Home, the Solstice Center, and 302 Pearl St. Studios are all going through some positive changes, and in the weeks and months to come, I trust that all of you dancers and other supporters will appreciate the end results. In the mean time, please, enjoy the transitions that are happening.

If anyone has any concerns or questions, you can email me or call me at 303-499-9357.

Namaste,

Mark
