The Wellness Institute of Crestone is presenting: An Advanced Course in Cranialsacral Biodynamics, March 9-13, exploring the key concepts that are universal to energy medicine systems and exploring how those apply to cranio-sacral therapy. Call 719-256-4500 for information.
Mukara Meredith leads the MATRIXWORKS training, teaching participants how to work with groups as living systems. First session in March starts Thusrday, March 17 from 6:00-9:00 pm and continues from 12-6 on the 18th,19th, and 20th. The second session begins March 31 and goes through April 3. Michal Dayan leads a Womens' group, 7:30-10:30, Wednesday evenings in the skylight room.
The Thursday evening Womens' group takes place in the big room Thursday March 3 and 24, from 7:30-9:00.

TURN STRESS INTO BLISS. Take a Yoga class with Wendy Stern at the Solstice Institute! For eight weeks, starting March 21st, from 5:00-8:30 in the Big room. Local expert Wendy Stern will lead participants step-by-step through a process that will help them turn stress into bliss. The program uses both Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy and the practice of Mindfulness to help participants identify the sources of the stress underlying their condition. Along with guided yoga and meditation experiences, participants also engage in group discussion and personal self-observation along with structured homework exercises. TruthSayers.com, gathering monthly to help activists become better communicators, will be in the skylight room Monday night March 7 from 7:00-8:00. Their focus is on collaborative justice, nonviolence and sustainable activism. Their current SpeakUp group in Boulder is made up primarily of animal advocates, although others from other nonviolence movements are invited to join in or get on their waiting list for upcoming groups. Jennifer Crews M.A. will guide you to meet and get to know YOUR inner language. Learn to do readings on yourself and others using cards ( angel, tarot, inspirational). Learn why any deck of cards can be a powerful tool to tap into your inner language. In knowing your intuition you will truly learn to know yourself. Various card decks will be provided for use during the workshop. You are welcome to bring your favorite deck of cards, however it is not required. One free intuitive reading with Jennifer Crews will be given away on May 25.

We include a personal report from Carla Salinas (Yatri), director of Circle of Hearts, currently a Solstice Institute supported project:
Hello Hearts,
I am finally sending out an update after almost a year. The technical difficulties would bore you.
However, here it is now:
1) We have a wonderful woman volunteering her time so generously. Her name is Lauren Brillante and she has held my hand as a "partner in crime" over the last 9 months or so.
2) Together we have created a new non-profit, Integrative Cancer Resources. Same basic vision as Circle of Hearts (empowering people with cancer to actively survive with integrative approaches), just cleaner to create a new company. We are open to any other suggestions for the name.
3) We finally finished the 501(c)(3) application for our own tax-exempt status!! AND mailed it in!!
4) Very sad news: My older sister, Celia (age 35) died on Jan 4th early in the am. It was unexpected by most, but not me. She died of an AVM (arteriovenus malformation), basically her capillaries were deformed from birth and this caused a pooling of blood in a vein on her brain.
She wrked as an attorney for the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco. Her term of 5 years there was up and she had been searching for a new job that fit her values of justice and fairness. She seized and bled out in her brain when she was told that the Court had created a new job for her because they really wanted her to stay.
We all loved her so much. She is with me now laughing and smiling. My spirit is with her and my body is still very sad. I am so glad that in our last conversation we really drove home how much we loved each other.
I have been slowly getting back to my responsibilities. Thanks for your patience.
5) Spectacular news: I got my 2nd MRI of my brain showing "no residual tissue of lesion", basically completely clear, in September!! Yey!
I am still recuperating from the chemo, radiation, and heck, brain cancer itself since I was a kid.
Thank you for your ongoing and continual prayers and financial support. It really makes a difference.
6) We are now interviewing for active board members and an executive director to be paid.
